The location was perfect with a amazing view with a cafe 5 minuet walk. The hosts was lovely and always happy to help. I stayed in the swallow cottage which had a walk in shower which was really powerful. Plenty of storage for your footwear and wardrobes and chest of draws for your cloths in both bedrooms. The kitchen was ideal with a large fridge with separate freezer, washing machine, cooker, microwave, coffee maker dishwasher and dishwasher tablet was provided. It also had a smart TV which was ideal for the children and the open fire was lovely. It was so clean I would not go to Llangollen and not stay there as the children was so sad to be leaving the cottage. The garden was perfect for the dog and children as you was able to shut the gate and let them all run freely which was ideal when we was unpacking and packing to go home.

Gorgeous cottage, equipped with everything you may need in a holiday home. 5☆facilities, immaculately clean, peaceful and has amazing views over the Dee Valley from the living room and top bedroom. Welcoming hosts. On arrival we were shown around by Catherine and she left lovely treats for us in the kitchen. There was also complementary tea & coffee available. We couldn't have found a better location for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. It was perfect for outdoor activities, walks, and the nearby Llangollen has shops and restaurants. The cottage was much more spacious than we initially thought from the description, it has two bedrooms, and is very comfortable for a family with two adults and two children.

Everything about Swallow Cottage was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed to be self-sufficient, including a much-needed washing machine and the bedroom was cosy and comfortable. The view was spectacular. Simon was a delightful host, nothing was too much trouble. Swallow Cottage is by far the best accommodation we have had in the UK!

Superb location and the accommodation was so clean, comfortable and very well furnished with more than you would expect for a self catering property. The hosts were really friendly and informative of the local area. The cottage and grounds were also excellent for our spaniel. We will definitely be back to this beautiful part of Wales.

Have just enjoyed a four night break at Wagtails. Owners are welcoming and helpful. Well equipped cottage with comfortable beds. Walks across the fields to the railway track. Can see the steam trains from the bedroom window. Location is close to Llangollen, Horseshoe pass and Pontcysyllte aqueduct. Thanks for a lovely stay.
